Parent Committee
Each of our locations have parent committees which consists of the Director, a Teacher and three parents, who currently have children enrolled in the centers. These committees are in place to ensure the parents have a voice in the centers and helps us see things from a parent's perspective.
There are also parent meetings held throughout the year to update the parents on what's happening and to allow
parents to express concerns or ask questions.
Parent Board
The Parent Boards are located in the front entrance way of each location.
The parent boards contain information such as:
A copy of the Daycare Act and Regulations
A copy of the Parent Handbook
The licence for the facility and a copy of the most recent inspection of the facility
A copy of the behavior guidance policy
A copy of the current menu
A copy of the daily program plan and routine
A list of names of the current members of the parent committee, and minutes from our most recent meeting.

Weather
Weather permitting, the children go outside everyday, twice a day, morning and afternoon.
If the weather is too cold or too hot this can not always be accomplished. But we encourage all parents to bring
appropriate outdoor clothing for the children. If the children are well prepared with rain gear, warm winter wear,
and hats for the summer, it makes it much easier for everyone to get out and enjoy the outdoors no matter what the
weather is like.
Here is a list of suggested items for each child to have.
Rain Gear
Rain Coat
Splash Pants ( unlined please)
Rubber Boots
Winter Wear
Winter Jacket
toque
Mittens ( extras would be great)

Summer Wear
Sun Hat
Sunscreen ( no spray)
